"Efficient Food Management in Event Hospitality" (EFMEH)

The project aims to reduce food waste in the hospitality and event management sectors. Through innovative solutions and sustainable practices, it addresses key challenges in food management, from planning, storage, and preparation to serving and minimizing food waste.
The project’s goal is to promote sustainable food consumption in the hospitality industry, positively impacting the environment, reducing costs, and increasing social responsibility.

EUROPEAN FOOD SUMMIT

Jezeršek Catering is the organizer and main contributor of the European Food Summit project, one of the most significant culinary events in Europe.

The European Food Summit raises awareness about the global impacts of food, bringing together the biggest names in the culinary world and exceptional individuals from the fields of gastronomy, art, and media who are making positive changes in the world. Through their stories, they inspire and encourage progressive thinking and action for a better and sustainable future of food.

Jezeršek Catering, under the brand Jezeršek 360° - Heartfelt Stories of Responsibility, conducts activities and markets products and services in the field of responsible and sustainable operations.

Jezeršek 360° is a story through which we are dedicatedly building Jezeršek Catering as a responsible, innovative, and sustainably oriented company.

GORENJSKA FISH

The purpose of the project is to elevate the level of healthy local fish consumption, contribute to the health of the population with a focus on vulnerable target groups, and promote local economic development and employment throughout the supply chain, from fish farmers to consumers' plates, in the area of the LAS Gorenjska Košarica.

WITH JEZERŠEK TO THE SLOVENIAN HOUSE

In collaboration with the Olympic Committee of Slovenia – Association of Sports Federations, Jezeršek Catering, in addition to its regular team, takes young, promising candidates on a professional excursion to the Slovenian House and elite sports events.

This initiative aims to provide young individuals with an unforgettable life experience and demonstrate that working in the hospitality and tourism industry can be rewarding. With the "Z Jezerški na olimpijske igre" (With Jezerški to the Slovenian House) project, the company contributes to addressing employment issues in the hospitality sector.

NO LEFTOVER WEEK

In 2017, at the initiative of master chef Luka Jezeršek and like-minded colleagues, the project "Teden nezavržene hrane" (No Leftover Week) was created. Its purpose is to raise public awareness about the importance of reducing the amount of wasted food, its negative consequences, and the potential social benefits of better utilization of food surplus.

Many other master chefs and influencers joined the project, and the initiative was also supported by the best European chef, Massimo Bottura.

Various activities of the No Leftover Week reached more than 1.5 million people across Slovenia.
