WEDDINGS AT BLED CASTLE

It is impossible to stay indifferent when climbing the castle, entering the courtyard of this magnificent fortification and seeing the views of Bled lake and the surrounding mountains. The ambience of Bled Castle is truly remarkable and its weddings as in fairytale.

Wedding ceremony

Civil and church wedding can be held at Bled Castle. 'Lapidarij' stone arch at upper courtyard and Knight's Hall host civil wedding ceremonies. Church weddings can be held at the castle gothic chapel dedicated to the bishops St Albuin and St Ingenuin. Several medieval cultural performances can accompany your reception. Wedding party

Bled Castle Restaurant offers several types of wedding receptions. Greet your guests with canapés & finger food upon their arrival and/or with cold appetizers after the wedding ceremony. Wedding gala dinner & party can be held at Bled Castle Restaurant or at Knight's Hall.

Facilities

Courtyards

The Lord and Lady of the Castle will descend down the staircase and greet everybody present at the well at the lower castle courtyard. Gala dinner at upper courtyard is possible upon request (extra costs).

Bled Castle Restaurant

It is possible to rent the entire restaurant for private wedding celebration. Maximum of 90 guest can have dinner in the restaurant. In case there is room needed for band and dance floor, the number of guests would reduce.

Knight's Hall

This medieval hall below the restaurant is available for rent for a wedding party with up to 60 guests. A combination of wedding dinner at the restaurant and an after party in Knight's Hall is also possible.

Culinary offer

At Bled Castle Restaurant local and regional dishes are made in contemporary and sophisticated way with an aim to preserve the gastronomical heritage of Upper Carniola region and Slovenia. Special wedding menus have been made to complement this magical venue.
